Dai'Jon Khalil Sistrunk 22 passed away April 07, 2018 in Rockford, IL. Dai'Jon was born November 15, 1995 to Laurie Cherry and Ronnie L. Sistrunk Sr. in Chicago, IL. Dai'Jon attended Ellis Arts academy, West Middle School and graduated from Roosevelt High School; he also attended Rock Valley, with the help from two academic scholarships. He was employed by Lowe's Distribution Center in Rockford, Il. Dai'Jon did give his life to Christ and had a passion for music. He wrote and performed at different venues, he enjoyed working with several other different artist. Dai'Jon was a loving father, son, brother, cousin nephew and friend. He was loved and respected by many.
Dai'Jon leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Laurie (Lafonzo) Cherry; father, Ronnie L. (Mahalie) Sistrunk Sr.; five sisters, Jaia, Felecia, Shannon, Jasmine, and Jaliyah; four brothers, Ronnie Jr, Jamari, Jahlani, and Johnny; grandmothers, Debra Anderson, and Deborah Sistrunk; great grandmothers, Ruth O. Pikes and Velma Goldman and a host of cousins, aunts, uncles, co workers, and special friends.
He was preceded in death by both of his grandfathers, Ronald O. Sistrunk Sr., and Lawrence E. Anderson; also by his 1st cousin/brother Sean Michael Anderson who joined him in his home going on April 07, 2018.
