Christine Goza

Christine Goza was born December 12, 1921 in Curtis, Arkansas to Hillard Goza and Sallie White.

Christine was one of 13 siblings.  Christine was the only surviving sibling.

Christine attended Arkadelphia Peake High School.  After high school she moved north to Rockford Illinois. 

Christine known to many of her friends as “Chris” worked as a cook in several locations in Rockford.  She enjoyed cooking and loved cooking for her family.  

Christine was a long time member of Pilgrim Baptist under Pastor E.H.E Gilbert Sr.  While at the church Christine was a devoted member of the Good Samaritans Ministry.  

Christine departed this life on October 9, 2018 peacefully in her sleep.  

Christine leaves behind a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and cherished friends.
