Betty Anding, a long-time resident of Rockford, Illinois was born in Chicago on December 16, 1928 she passed away May 08, 2017.  Betty attended Public Schools of Chicago, IL. A high school graduate, she worked as a dog groomer for over 20 years at Hillcrest Animal Hospital in Rockford, Illinois. She was a faithful member of First Christian Church (Apostles Barbara D. and Alphonso A. Heath) until her health failed her. She leaves to cherish her memory, loving granddaughter, Alonda White (Deon) Troupe whom she raised as her daughter; Great grandchildren: Justus, Heaven and Nevaeh Troupe; one step great grand daughter, Justyce Troupe; Nellie Ivy best friend for 74 years and close friends Almatha Hollingsworth for 57 years, Evelyn Tucker, Cheryl Funk, Tina King and many others; Special relationships with Elder JoAnn Wilson, Donald (Carmen) Lewis, Cassandra Erin McDuff and Daniel McDuff. Predeceased by her mother, Betty and father, husband, Frank Anding; and two sons, Troy and Kevin White.
