Andre Taylor

andre "Dre" Taylor was born on August 28, 1980 and grew up in Chicago, Illinois.  The son of Daniel and Valery Taylor.  Dre moved to Sterling in 2000, then to Rockford shortly after and has been here ever since.  He had two sons, Andre (18) and Isaiah (16).  In 2006 he met and fell in love with Penny and they married July 28, 2009 (9 years).  Before he died he was working at Liebovich Steel as a crane operator and really enjoyed his job.  

Dre was a wonderful, hard-working, strong-minded, passionate, honest generous and amazing man.  He was a loving and devoted husband, father, brother, son and friend.  Dre leaves behind his wife Penny Taylor; his sons, Andre and Isaiah; his parents, Daniel and Valery Taylor; his siblings, Lonell, Danny, Stephanie, William, and Ashley Taylor; as well as many nieces and nephews.  Loved by so many close friends and family Tim Miller, Katherine Stevens, Rory Green, Sean Martinez, David Hernandez, Tyree Collins, Anthony Fort, Jennifer Jimenez, and so many others.  He will be truly missed and never forgotten.
