PATRICIA ELAINE CROWDER was born on May 24, 1951 to John Henry Crowder Sr. and Birdia Mai Crowder. She was the third oldest of seven siblings. Proceeding Patricia to their heavenly home were her parental and martial grandparents on both sides of the family and her father John Sr and mother Birdia, along with her brothers Ronald and John Jr, (Bouie) her sister Linda and her youngest brother Marvin (Wade). Patricia leaves behind her daughter Patrice E. Crowder, sisters, Gloria William, and Shirley Ortiz (David Ortiz), Aunt, Mary Ann Scales, She is further survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends both new and old.
Patricia was raised on the west side of Chicago where she attended Suder Elementary, Mckinley Jr High and graduated from Richard T Crane in 1968 receiving her high school diploma. Patricia loved to learn and continued her education, receiving her bachelor’s in teaching from National University, and then went on to receive two master’s degrees in Higher Education.
Patricia loved spending time with her family. We all know the happiest time for Patricia involved good food, good company, and great conversation. You could also say she was known as the fun Auntie who let her nieces and nephews learn and explore life with a carefree attitude.
On Saturday, March 16, 2024, Patricia Elaine Crowder left this Earth to take her place with her Heavenly Father. Although she is no longer with us physically, she will forever be in our hearts.
