Zakiyyah K. Kamau, a lovely daughter passed away May 22, 2015 at home. She was born September 13, 1983 in Rockford, Illinois to Hashim and Delois J. Kamau (Jones). She attended McIntosh, Flinn and graduated from Jefferson High in 2002. She attended The House of God Keith Dominion where Rev. Charles Jackson is the pastor. She was a wonderful and lovely daughter. She leaves behind to cherish, her daughter: Aminah Kamau. Brothers: Hashim I. Kamau (Consuelo), Rahman H. Kamau (Keara), Ali Graves (Hina) all from Rockford, Illinois, Robert McGhee (Sheretta) of Kenosha, Wisconsin. Sisters: Rachel Lockhart Taylor (Chris) of Lilburn, Georgia, Tammy Lockhart of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Lori Stafford of Rockford, Illinois and other sisters as well. Zakiyyah leaves behind to cherish a host of aunts and uncles: Special Aunts; Stello Payne of Rockford, Angela D. Graves also of Rockford and many nieces;: Yaya, Nunu, Nana, GG, and Camila. Many nephews, including Big man and many well-loved cousins, lots of friends, including her special friends: Sheffield Nicholson and Robert Smith.
