PATRICIA ANN (GRAYNED) SWITZER, 69 ROCKFORD - 69, loving mother and grandmother, departed this earthly life Wednesday, June 24, 2015, after a long illness. Patsy was born January 20, 1946, in Rockford, IL; the daughter of John Henry Grayned Sr., and Nehemiah Tolliver Grayned. Patsy married William Switzer in Peoria Il in 1971. Patsy worked in environmental services for 30 years between Proctor Hospital and Swedish American Hospital. Patsy was loved and respected by all her co- workers and the many people she came across in life. Patsy leaves to cherish many memories, her daughters, Tammy Switzer of California, Sara (Terrell) Curry and Brandy (RaeShawn) Harris, both of Rockford, IL; grandchildren, Skyler Switzer of California, Jaylen Walker, Angel Curry and Che Curry, all of Rockford; also her unborn grandson on the way; six sisters, Joan Grayned, Janice Shutter, Loris Rightious, Doris (Alvin) English, Denise McAllister and Sharon Grayned; six brothers, John Grayned Jr., Otha Grayned Sr., Willie Grayned, Richard (Marcie) Grayned, Jackie Grayned, and Larry (Nila) Grayned, all of Rockford. She was predeceased by both her parents; sisters, Barbara Triplett and Shirley Barrett; niece, Theresa Mitchell; and nephew, Derek Grayned. Service at 11 a.m. Monday, June 29, 2015, at My Fathers House Worship Center, 2405 Auburn Street, with visitation beginning at 9 a.m. Pastor Elijah Cooper will officiate. Burial in Cedar Bluff Cemetery.
