Minnie Lee Suggs - McNeally of Rockford, iL went home friday September 25, 2015. Minnie Lee was born March 16th, 1961 to Mable Lee Suggs and John Wesley Suggs in Sallis, Mississippi. She was an A-1 Student that graduated high school in 1980. She was an active member of the High School Band. She gave her life to God early in life as a young girl in Mississippi and continued her life with Christ. As a young woman she attended Holmes Goodman Community College. She moved to Rockford, IL in the 80's, where she also attended Rockford Business College where she entered the field of Health Care and continued in that field for over 15 years. She had two sons: Timothy and Kevin Ragland. She met and married Felix McNeally, who proceeded her in death along with her parents; Mable Lee and John W. Suggs, 3 brothers: David Suggs, Williams Suggs and John H. Suggs and Sister Mattie Suggs as a young child and her grandson Kevin Jr. Minnie, for over 30 years, has been a member of Bethel Baptist Church, the secretary of Sunday school, usher board member for over 25 years; dedicated instructor/advisor for the junior usher board; and she was also a member of Rockford, Freeport Council "The Devotional Leader". She leaves to cherish her memory her two sons: Timothy and wife Sheneatha Ragland from Madison, Wisconsin. Kevin Ragland from Rockford, IL. Five sisters: Charlean McBride of Rockford, IL, Carmen Young and husband Eddie Young of Canton, Ohio; Imogene Williams of Wisconsin; Annie Mae Nelson and husband Randy Nelson of Sallis, Mississippi; Patricia Meola and Paul Meola of Virginia. 5 Brothers: Earl Lee of Canton, Ohio; Lucious Suggs of Rockford, IL; J.C. Suggs of Carolina; Roy Suggs and Tammy Suggs of Rockford, IL and Floyd Suggs of Rockford. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, grand nieces, grand nephews and a long list of other family and friends. She was truly loved and will be truly missed.
