Linda Faye Box, 60, departed this life May 5, 2015. She was born October 2, 1954 to the union of Connie Lee Box Sr. and Brodie Box Malone. Linda graduated from Harlem High School in Machesney Park, IL. Linda was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church from childhood. Linda loved to sing in the church choir. When she could no longer sing, it hurt her to her heart. Linda was a loving and giving person and would give you her last dime. She will be greatly missed. Linda leaves to cherish many memories her daughter, Riyasha Hollins; a great niece she raised Brittany Box; three sisters, Shirley (Ersey) Edmond of Beloit, WI; Ruby (Robert) Williams of Rockford, IL; and Betty Sue Burnell of Hot Springs Ark; three brothers, Clifton (Lorene) Sims, Robert (Lenora) Box, Jerry Allen and Darnell Sanders all of Rockford; special great niece Juneal Walker, special cousin Clara Box and special friends Carol Hobbs and Virginia Washington. Linda is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Connie Box Jr, and Randy Box; and three sisters, Mary Louise Box, Asie Box and Sally Loudermilk.
