November 20, 1976 ~ August 24, 2014 (age 37) 37 Years Old
Lee Maurice Nevil "Leodis" was born November 20, 1976 in San Francisco, California to the late Phillip Webb & Sylvia Elaine Nevil. As a young boy Lee relocated to New Orleans, Louisiana where he was educated in the Orleans Parish School system. Lee was baptized at Second Baptist Church in New Orleans, Louisiana under the late Reverend Earl Green. He was active in the church by attending Sunday School, weekly bible study, vacation bible school, and singing in the choir. He accepted and knew Christ as his personal savior.
Later Lee transitioned to Chicago, IL where he furthered his career in social services and met and married his soul mate Leigha Chapman on November 19, 2005. They together became members of Rivers of Living Waters Ministries where he loved fellowshipping and being a member of the men's ministry.
Lee was a dedicated employee at Rock River Academy (UHS) where he freely gave his heart and talents to the children and co-workers in which he loved.
Lee will forever be known for his beautiful smile and spirit. His strength and dedication to his family and friends was limitless and uncompromising, truly reflecting God's love. He was dedicated and had a special way of touching all that he encountered without even knowing it. Lee had a wonderful sense of humor and described life so vividly through his colorful expressions.
