LaTonia Ducksworth-Brown was born in Chicago, Illinois on December 30, 1971 to Mr. Leroy Ducksworth and Willie Mae Ducksworth-Lewis.
LaTonia Ducksworth-Brown loved to cook, DJ and most of all spend time with her family. She was always the life of the party, full of compassion and had a caring personality.
LaTonia attended CVS High School in Chicago, Illinois, later obtaining her GED.
LaTonia found her soul-mate in James Brown Sr., in 1987. They were united in Holy Matrimony on May 25, 2013. She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, James Brown Sr.; four children, James Brown Jr., LaPrecia Ducksworth, Shavette Brown and Julius Brown as well as her adopted daughter, Tamir Ducksworth-Scott; two sisters, and two brothers, LaShaun Goodman, Leroy Ducksworth Jr., LaTroy Ducksworth and LaCandi Ducksworth; five grandchildren, LaMarkiz Traver, James Brown III, Lania Brown, Jeremaih Brown and LaZarih Lewis; seven brothers and sisters-in-law and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
LaTonia Duckworth-Brown was preceded in death by her father, Leroy Duckworth, mother Willie Mae Duckworth-Lewis and sister LaTricia Duckworth.
