Karl Ray Davis, 58, died Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2016, from a sudden cardiac arrest in Rockford, IL
Karl was born Oct. 14, 1957, in Helena Arkansas and later moved to Chicago where he lived for most of his life before moving to Minnesota in the early 1990's. Karl worked as a construction worker for many years in Minnesota and also held several other jobs. He was beloved by his family and friends. Family members described Karl as having a gentle heart that would do anything for his loved ones. He also attended, "The First Apostolic Church" in Rockford, IL where his sister and brother in law Bernard and Marjorie Horbrook are Pastor and First Lady.
He is survived by his: Three sisters, Marjorie Horbrook-Davis; Bernard Horbrook, Sharon Faye Davis, and Patricia Davis. Three Brothers, Johnny Lee Davis, Willie Charles Davis, and Donnell Davis. Also, countless nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins and a special lady friend Patricia Taylor
He is preceded in death by Parents, Robert and Roberta Davis. Also, many aunts and uncle.
