JENNIE RAINEY, 70 ROCKFORD - Jennie Rainey, 70, of Rockford passed away March 18, 2014, at Amberwood Nursing home, after a long illness. She was born August 24, 1943, in Camden, AR to Lula Gulley and Claudia J Holliman. She moved to Pontiac, MI where she married Van Rainey Feb. 7, 1975, later moving to Rockford, IL. Jennie leaves to cherish her memories sisters, Eva Mae Hines of Ingster, MI, Virginia Holliman Jackson of Camden, AR; brother, Ricky Holliman of Camden, AR; favorite cousin, Lucindia Richardson; special nieces and nephews that aided in her care, Ruthie B. Powell, Caroline Stoudermire, Janice Paschal, Chanelle Reed, Tony Holliman, Quinten Hayes; longtime family friend, Willie Luster; in addition to a host of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Van Rainey; both parents, Lula Gulley and Claudia (Jack) Holliman; sisters, Queenester Jack, Genovie Maxwell, Annie Paschal, Ola B. Holliman; brothers, Alfred Hamilton, and Caludia Jack Holliman Jr.
