Gregory Beard, 53 of Rockford departed his earthly life on Tuesday, September 13th in Swedish American Hospital . He was born on May 18th 1963 in Rockford Il. The son of Willis Scott Jr and Thelma Beard. Gregory lived most of his life in Rockford, moving to Milwaukee, Wis for a short time before returning to Rockford. He attended Auburn High School. Gregory leaves to cherish many loving memories, his mother, Thelma Beard; daughter, Starkisha Parker of Rockford; sons, Gregory Beard, of Milwaukee, Wis and Nathaniel Gaskin of Rockford, IL; sisters, Marva Richardson, Alyce Beard, and Laura (Min.Mickey) Lark all of Rockford; brothers, Ernest (Glendalen), Richard (Denise), Antonino, and David Beard all of Rockford; three grandchildren, a host of nieces nephews, and friends, including special niece, Shanaye Beard Thompson. He was predeceased by his father, Willis Scott Jr., brothers, Eric Beard, Willis Scott III and Donald Scott and a sister, Nellie Ball.
