Elnora's parents were Coley W. Webb Sr. and Evelyn Strayhorn Webb. Elnora was educated at Gibson Country Training school in Milan, Tennessee and Lane College in Jackson, Tennessee. Elnora retired at 43 years as an employee of the State of Illinois department of Children and Family Services. She was also a long standing member of Pilgrim Baptist Church and the church secretary for many years. Elnora was a former member of the Wednesday Luncheonette Club. She was married to Mr. William Newton. Elnora's daughter is Mae E Starks (Kenneth). Mrs. Newton's siblings are as followed; Willie B. Webb, Coley W. Webb Jr., Ella M. Webb Roberson (Herron). Elnora's grandchildren are Kevin A. Starks, Kelly M. Starks; great granchildren are Keawonia K Starks, Misha A. Starks, and Brooklyn M. Starks. She leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. We give a special acknowledgement to her special friend, Mrs. Nanelle Due.
