Carmmia Conley was 86 of Rockford was born June 09, 1931 in Eupora, Mississippi to Alex and Lennet Sheldon Conley. He passed away July 17, 2017. Carmmia worked as a foundry worker at Madison Steel Mill. He was a member of Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church. Carmmia was a person that loved and cherished the Lord. He found comfort in listening to the choir and Pastor's sermons. Carmmia loved to fish and hunt, he enjoyed listening to the Blues. He named his guitar "Lucille" just like his favorite Blues singer BBKing. He always put his family first and reminded his family to always cherish each other. He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Jacklyn Williams, William (Bonnie) Conley, Tressea Peterson, and Barbara Conley; and one sister, Beatrice Williams and a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is predeceased by both parents, son Roger Conley; sisters, Jimmy Lou Conley, Virgie Mary Pratt, Thelma Marie Sheffield, and brothers, Little Budd and Helfin Conley.
