Braxton Valencia Loomis departed this earthly life on June 17th 2017. She was born September 17th 1996 in Rockford, IL. The daughter of Valencia Janell Loomis-Mwangi of Lake In The Hills, Il and Henry Dixson of Dallas, Texas. Braxton attended Crystal Lake South High School, attended and Graduated from Berean Baptist Christian School in 2015. She participated in Crystal Lake South school band as a flags color guard and played volleyball. Braxton was also on the Berean Baptist High School volleyball team, played the clarinet in the school band and mentored preschoolers. Braxton also attended Rock Valley College and was employed by UPS.
Braxton Valencia leaves to cherish many loving memories, her mother Valencia Janell Loomis-Mwangi, father, Henry Dixon, stepfather, Edward Mwangi, grandmother, Frances Norman, special aunt, Monica Elise Loomis-Smith, special uncles, Dale Anthony Loomis, Michael Edrick Norman, Alexander Michael Norman, Kaleb Anthony Norman, Erick Loomis and Brad Loomis a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Braxton attended Faith Center and accepted Christ and was baptized at age 12. Braxton is remembered by her loving, kind and gentle heart. She was a sweet and beautiful young woman with the cutest dimples, whose presence lit up a room. She had a special bond with her Gramma whom she adored. Braxton was fun loving, silly and caring to all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
